Mind of the Youth


The mind of the youth
Fast paced and edgy
Their hearts beat quickly
Their thoughts sketchy

Though they are not mature
Have much to learn and do
One this is for sure
Their steadfast holds true

      Some poems are meant to be short to just capture a light drift of the essence, a quick taste of the topic; just a small idea. There's a bit of beauty to that, don't you think?
