Enemies Quote
I agree with this quote to a certain extent. Sometimes if you speak your mind, you are bound to have people who disagree with you completely. Depending on the person, they might not want to talk to you. They might try to disagree with anything you say just to get back at you.
However, some people justify rude actions with this quote. Saying things to others that are offensive or racist and getting hate out of that does not make having enemies a good thing. It quite frankly means you're being an insensitive, disrespectful jerk.
Take this quote however you want, but overall I think it means stay true to yourself and your core values and stand up for what you believe is right. If it's a sensitive topic though, you have to be thoughtful of how other's may feel. Don't bash the opposing side, though. That makes you the bad guy.

Greatness Quote
Stop asking and start working on it! I'm serious. The more you talk about achieving something, and whether you want to do it, the more time you take away from actually working on it. Initiate plans and start working on them, there's time to brag about your great ideas later.

Great Minds Quote
This precious time we spend talking about others should be time to think about ourselves and what we can do to leave a footprint on this world. Do you want people to remember you as the one who talked about people, or do you want them to remember you as the one who was talked about because of all the ideas you have provided to the world?
Live your life. Stay true to your heart. Follow your dreams. Know that anything is possible.
Happy Monday everyone!

Monday Musings
From this Monday onward, I'm going to put up a quote or thought to ponder and just get your week rolling. Also because I like the phrase Monday Musings.
Today's muse: Phonics, which is by definition, a method of teaching people to read by correlating sounds with letters, is not spelled the way it sounds.
Weird, huh?
Weird, huh?

Quotes
I've recently taken an interest in quotes. They're like little bubbles of information that burst in your face and tickle you with a fact or a feeling to ponder or enjoy. Some make you laugh, some make you sad, and some just get to you and make you want to read them over and over again.
Here are a few that I could gather from my favorites, but I'll post some whenever I find more.

Back to the Bones
Lately I've been trying to work through some bumps along the road. My life has become monotonous and boring. I have no motivation to do anything. All I'm doing is lollygagging, studying, wasting time online, eating, and sleeping. Why am I on Facebook and Twitter and Tumblr and all those sites for hours on end? Why am I complaining about procrastinating and having so much to do, rather than doing it all and getting it over with? Why do I always say I have to hit the gym and I don't even make an effort to try? Why do I say I have to get a job or an internship or something and I haven't even applied? Why do I make schedules and not follow through with them in the end?
See what I'm getting at here?
Those are some of the questions I've been asking myself. I'm not living anymore. I'm surviving, sure but I'm not really living with this day by day constant boringness and stress. So like in Wall-E, I'll say this:

I want to live my life by achieving my goals, not by idling around and only doing the necessities.
I'm compiling a list of things that I want to change about myself. It's like I'm on a pursuit of happiness. I'm going to work slowly on getting things where I want them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not miserable, I'm just...not very...efficient and it's driving me crazy. So let's see how this plays out, and with any luck I might see the light. I'll keep you all posted on my progress and things I've figured out, and I'll put it under the label goals.
Care to join me on this endeavor? Come along, it'll be fun!

Tomorrow?
So there's this problem I'm having...
I NEED to study. I NEED to write. I NEED to work out. I NEED to do things I like. I NEED to get organized. I NEED to have a social life. I NEED to work out my ambitions. I NEED. I NEED, I NEED, I NEED. Why can't I ever DO?
I always tell myself, "Tomorrow I'm gonna start fresh. Tomorrow's a new day, and I'll start doing the things I want to do and the things I need to do. I'll be organized, punctual, happy. Life will be good from then on."
*Said yesterday.
**And the day before.
***And the day before that.
****And the day that came before that.
It's infinite.

Moral of the story? Life doesn't work that way.
You know how life works?
You have to work it out gradually, get into habit of things, which could take weeks. Developing habits is one of those little stupid things that if you don't make solid, they won't stick, meaning you'll go back to whatever bad habit you were doing before.
Fun isn't it?
You need motivation to get things done. You need to believe whatever you're doing has a benefit and a goal you need to reach. That pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (which by the way, DOES NOT EXIST). It's all very annoying. What if I have no motivation?
Sometimes life is weird that way. Whatever, I'll start fresh tomorrow. Or not. Er...

Insomnia Blip
I hate those nights where I know there is no hope left for sleeping so I just lay there in bed and let my thoughts run amuck and then they go too far and my brain goes into overdrive and suddenly everything becomes so funny and I can't stop myself from quietly laughing and I think, surely enough, I have gone mad.

True Love
I found this really cute quote by Bob Marley. It pretty much summarizes the true sweetness and tenderness of love.
"Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn your world around. You tell them things that you’ve never shared with another soul and they absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for the future, dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens, you can’t wait to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you make a fool of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not good enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that make you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or competition but only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry about what they will think of you because they love you for who you are. In their presence, there’s no need for continuous conversation, but you find you’re quite content in just having them nearby. Things that never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are important to this person who is so special to you. You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple things bring them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the horizon. You open your heart knowing that there’s a chance it may be broken one day and in opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed possible. You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true pleasure that’s so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend and possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely different, exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a part of your life.”
-Bob Marley
